The Jugendinformationszentrum (JIZ) München is a specialized counseling and information center dedicated to providing comprehensive support to young people in Munich. As a central point of contact for adolescents and young adults, the JIZ offers free and confidential advice on a wide range of everyday life issues.[1][3]
The core mission of the JIZ is to inform and advise young people up to the age of 26 free of charge and, if desired, anonymously.[1][3] However, the offer is not exclusively aimed at young people - parents, professionals and teachers can also make use of the counseling services. The JIZ does not operate in isolation, but is part of a broad network of partners and specialist centers. Of particular note is the cooperation with "Spiellandschaft Stadt", which carries out activities for children on Saturdays.[2] These cooperations enable the JIZ to provide specialized help if necessary and to expand its offer in a targeted manner.
