About Katholische Kindertagesstätte Zwölf Apostel

The Katholische Kindertagesstätte Zwölf Apostel in Augsburg-Hochzoll-Süd offers care for around 150 children of kindergarten and after-school age. As part of the Catholic Church, the institution places particular emphasis on conveying Christian values and beliefs, while at the same time openness and appreciation towards other religions are practiced.

The focus of the pedagogical work is the child as a unique individual loved by God. The Kita creates a place of security, trust and appreciation where children can playfully and joyfully discover faith.

The pedagogical work is based on the Bavarian Education and Upbringing Plan. In mixed-age groups, work is carried out according to the situation-oriented approach, with the interests and needs of the children being the main focus. The Kita supports the children in developing into independent and responsible personalities and actively involves them in their educational processes. An appreciative and loving attitude characterizes the pedagogical action.

The daycare center offers both kindergarten and after-school groups. The kindergarten comprises four groups, while the after-school care is divided into two groups. The spacious rooms and the extensive garden offer children a variety of play and development opportunities.
