The Katholisches Jugendsozialwerk München e.V. is a leading provider of services in the independent welfare sector and a professional association within the Caritas Association of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. The organization offers a variety of services for children, adolescents, and adults, including places in youth hostels, services for child and youth welfare, as well as inpatient and outpatient care for people with disabilities.

The KJSW places great importance on Prevention and Safety. For several years, there have been initiatives to prevent violence, particularly sexual violence. These include the establishment of abuse officers and working groups for prevention.
