KIELER FENSTER e.V. is an established provider of social and psychiatric assistance in Kiel, which has been supporting people with mental illnesses and their relatives for over 45 years. The association offers a wide range of services to support those affected in various areas of life.

The range of services includes:

• Beratung, Begegnung und Tagesgestaltung: At the Ambulanten Zentrum, people seeking help and their relatives receive uncomplicated advice and support. Day centers offer a meaningful daily structure in a familiar environment. Soziotherapie accompanies people with mental illnesses through individual assistance.
• Behandlung: The psychiatric day clinic with an affiliated outpatient clinic offers medical and psychotherapeutic treatment as well as a variety of therapeutic assistance. Ambulante Ergotherapie supports in dealing with the mental illness.
• Wohnen: Depending on the need, the association offers qualified assistance, social therapeutic living groups and the Wohnhaus Schwanensee with different forms of support in the living area.
• Arbeit: Diverse jobs and employment opportunities as well as opportunities for additional income enable professional orientation, training of resilience and preparation for the general labor market.
• Projekte: The association initiates and implements projects on topics such as prevention of mental illnesses, anti-stigma work and promotion of inclusion.
