The Klinikum Worms gGmbH is a leading hospital for specialized care under municipal sponsorship of the city of Worms and has been operating as a non-profit GmbH since 2000. As an academic teaching hospital of the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, it fulfills a regional supply mandate in the catchment area of Worms and the surrounding area, in the geographical triangle of Mainz–Kaiserslautern–Ludwigshafen.[1][3][4]
