The chamber is committed to a sustainable and responsible health policy. It actively participates in the health policy opinion-forming process and strives for uniformity in the medical profession. It also promotes quality assurance and further training in order to continuously improve medical care.
In Baden-Württemberg there are four district medical associations: Nordwürttemberg, Südwürttemberg, Nordbaden and Südbaden. These are responsible for the operative business on site and offer doctors advice and support in professional legal matters.
