The LAG Selbsthilfe Baden-Württemberg e.V. advocates for the rights and equal participation of people with disabilities. As an umbrella organization of over 60 self-help associations, it promotes inclusion, accessibility, and independent counseling in all areas of life.
The Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft SELBSTHILFE behinderter Menschen Baden-Württemberg e.V. (LAG SELBSTHILFE) is an independent working group of disability self-help, founded in 1987. As an umbrella organization, we represent over 60 self-help associations in Baden-Württemberg, which represent more than 150,000 people with disabilities and chronic illnesses as well as their relatives.
The LAG SELBSTHILFE represents the interests of all indication areas and consolidates their concerns. Our mission is to improve the equal participation of people with disabilities and chronic illnesses in all areas of life. We advocate for an inclusive society in which all people can participate equally and without barriers.
The LAG SELBSTHILFE Baden-Württemberg e.V. is closely networked with the umbrella organizations of organized self-help in other federal states and at the federal level to ensure regular exchange and effective representation of interests.
