editThe Landesbildungszentrum des Sächsischen Dachdeckerhandwerks e.V. (LBZ) is the central training and further education center for the roofing trade in Saxony. It offers a comprehensive range of seminars and further training courses, from initial training to master craftsman training and specialized courses for skilled workers.
The LBZ sees itself as an important partner for trainees, journeymen and master craftsmen and supports them in continuously expanding their knowledge and skills and keeping them up to date. Through close cooperation with the Saxon roofing guilds and other relevant institutions, the LBZ ensures that the content offered is practical and relevant to the current challenges of the profession.
A particular focus is on the high-quality training of young people in order to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the roofing trade. The LBZ offers modern learning methods and individual support for trainees. Preparation for intermediate and journeyman examinations plays a central role. The examination dates are determined and announced in coordination with the examination boards in Saxony.
The LBZ strives to preserve the tradition of the roofing trade while promoting innovative technologies and sustainable construction methods. By imparting specialist knowledge and practical skills, the LBZ makes an important contribution to quality assurance in the Saxon roofing trade.
