The Landesgartenschau Offenburg 2032 (LG OG) is an ambitious project of the city of Offenburg, which will host one of Germany's largest garden shows in 2032. Under the motto of sustainable urban development, the Kinzig riverbank is being transformed into a vibrant paradise for sports, leisure and recreation. Permanent open spaces, access to the water and innovative green spaces are being created on around 25 hectares, which can be used far beyond the duration of the show.
The core mission of LG OG lies in sustainable urban development for a growing metropolis. Offenburg is using the show as a catalyst to create urban open spaces, strengthen biodiversity and increase quality of life. Values such as sustainability, inclusion and community are at the center: The Kinzig becomes the heart of a "green concept" that combines environmental protection with urban recreation. It's about a coherent picture for the future - open, inviting and forward-looking.
