This includes supporting voluntary activities and promoting professional structures through the Landeskoordinierungsstelle Hospiz- und Palliativarbeit Schleswig-Holstein (LKS)[2][3]. The association is also committed to raising public awareness of the topics of dying and death in order to destigmatize them and promote respectful support at the end of life[1][2].
Through its work, the HPVSH contributes to a change in society's approach to seriously ill and dying people by working towards respectful and dignified support[2].
