LandesSportbund Niedersachsen e. V.

The Landessportbund Niedersachsen (LSB) is the umbrella organization for sports in Lower Saxony. It represents the interests of its member clubs and associations and promotes sport in all its facets - from recreational to competitive sports.

The LSB offers its members a wide range of services and support. These include consulting services in the areas of club and association development, sports facility construction and funding, law and insurance. Through the Akademie des Sports, the LSB also offers a variety of training and further education opportunities for trainers, instructors and club officials.

An important concern of the LSB is the promotion of participation and diversity in sport. It is committed to inclusion, gender equality and integration and supports projects that enable access to sport for all people.

The LSB is also committed to sustainability in sport. It promotes environmentally friendly sports facilities, supports energy-saving measures in clubs and raises awareness of the responsible use of resources.

The LSB sees itself as an advocate for sport vis-à-vis politics and society. It is committed to the interests of sport and helps to ensure that sport has a strong voice in Lower Saxony. The Sportjugend promotes the development of young people and creates a diverse range of sporting activities.
