The Landessportbund Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. (LSB NRW) is the leading umbrella organization for sports in North Rhine-Westphalia. With over 400 employees from various backgrounds, the LSB NRW is committed to promoting sports in all its facets.
The main mission of the LSB NRW is to strengthen organized sports in NRW and to act as a responsible advocate. The corporate culture is based on values such as Respekt, Fairness, Engagement, Integrität, Teamgeist and Akzeptanz.
The LSB NRW works closely with the state government to secure and improve the infrastructure and quality of sports programs in NRW. Through regular discussions with politicians and participation in sports committee meetings, the LSB NRW is perceived as an important voice of sports.
