The Landesuntersuchungsamt Rheinland-Pfalz (LUA) is the central state service provider in consumer protection and health protection for humans and animals in Rheinland-Pfalz. With about 540 employees at five locations in Koblenz, Landau, Mainz, Speyer, and Trier, the LUA offers comprehensive services in the areas of Human Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Food Chemistry.
