The LfK Weiterbildungsgesellschaft für Pflegeberufe mbH, founded in Cologne in 1997 as a subsidiary of Landesverband freie ambulante Krankenpflege NRW e.V., is an established educational institution in the field of nursing in North Rhine-Westphalia. As a partner of over 1,000 outpatient nursing services and day care centers (members of LfK e.V.), LfK Weiterbildung sees itself as an advocate for private nursing services and offers a wide range of further education and training courses that are specifically tailored to the needs of outpatient care.
The seminar program includes both open seminars and individual training offers, which have been developed for individual nursing companies since 2004. The seminars are divided into five main areas: Quality, Entrepreneur Seminars, Personnel Management, Further Education and Training.
