Lebensbaum Emden is a stationary youth welfare institution that is committed with heart and dedication to the well-being of children and young people who cannot live in their families of origin. The company is convinced that every child deserves a loving and stable home where they can feel safe and develop their full potential.

The focus of Lebensbaum Emden's work is the "family as a method". In a family-analogous environment, young people experience protection, support and challenges that they need for their development. Healthy relationships with caregivers and other children create an environment that provides security and orientation.

In addition to family care, Lebensbaum Emden relies on adventure education programs to enable young people to have a variety of experiences. These include canoe tours, tent camps, outdoor projects and holiday camps. These activities promote body awareness, strengthen resources and help to discover hobbies and preferences. In cooperation with an experienced riding instructor, therapeutic riding is also offered, in which children and young people can reflect on their own behavior through interaction with horses and practice dealing with emotions appropriately.

The goal is to create an environment of security, stability and growth in which every child can discover and develop their talents.
