Another important field is the research and application of systematic innovation methodologies (SIM), in particular TRIZ. The Universität Leipzig is pooling forces and capacities in a working group dedicated to the basic training of students, university education and further training, as well as consulting and practical support for regional companies. The aim is to establish a central German competence center for Systematic Innovation Methodologies.
