The LMBV is a public sector company specializing in the remediation and recultivation of former brown coal mining regions in Lusatia and Central Germany, as well as the management of closed potash, spar, and ore mines in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia.
The main mission of the LMBV is to create attractive and safe post-mining landscapes for people and nature. It contributes to the sustainable development in the regions and improves the quality of life of the people living there.
