A special focus is on the healthy nutrition of the children. Kita Luftikus offers fresh fruit and vegetables from regional retailers every day, as well as balanced meals that are tailored to the nutritional needs of the children. Allergy food is also available if required.
Kita Luftikus participates in the "Faustlos" program, which addresses the promotion of empathy, impulse control and dealing with anger and rage. The aim is to teach children social skills and develop constructive conflict resolution skills.
Kita Luftikus attaches the greatest importance to child protection. Based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Federal Child Protection Act, the Kita has developed a protection concept that is reviewed and adapted annually. This concept includes measures to prevent child endangerment in various contexts and defines responsibilities in child protection. A complaints procedure for children ensures that their concerns are heard and taken into account.
Kita Luftikus works closely with the Jugendamt and supports parents in applying for Kita vouchers. Children from Brandenburg are also welcome.
