The
The Mansfeld-Löbbecke-Stiftung, founded in 1833, is dedicated to the care and support of young people with mental and psychosomatic illnesses. At its locations, which extend from the Lüneburg Heath through the Braunschweig region to the Harz Mountains, the foundation offers a wide range of services and offers, ranging from childhood to young adulthood.
The range of services includes age-appropriate housing options, including stationary living in groups and apartments, as well as assisted living. In addition, the foundation operates a special school with a focus on emotional and social development in Wolfenbüttel, which enables creative and holistic learning. Internal training and external training support as well as internal and external training courses complement the offer.
The foundation's goal is to give young people a future and to accompany them on their way to a largely independent life in their own apartment. It is based on the individual needs of young people and promotes their skills.
An important value of the Mansfeld-Löbbecke-Stiftung is diversity. The foundation is tolerant of other cultures, ways of life and views and experiences diversity as an enrichment. Racism, anti-Semitism, political extremism, nationalism and sexism have no place in the foundation. Everyone can contribute their individual skills and always experiences respect and appreciation in their uniqueness.
The foundation is also committed to social cohesion in the neighborhood, for example through the Kreativlabor (Creative Lab), which provides inclusive community work and offers free workshops and activities for young people from Braunschweig.
The Mansfeld-Löbbecke-Stiftung is also committed to sustainability. For example, sheep are used at the foundation's headquarters in Wolfenbüttel to maintain the green spaces in order to avoid machines or chemical agents, which protects the environment and promotes biodiversity.
