Mideast Freedom Forum Berlin

The Mideast Freedom Forum Berlin (MFFB) is a nonprofit organization established in 2007, consisting of scholars, journalists, members of Jewish organizations, and exiled Iranians. Our mission is to promote democracy, human rights, and the rule of law in the Middle East while ensuring a lasting remembrance of the Holocaust in Germany.

• Political Education and Consulting: The MFFB offers comprehensive educational programs focusing on topics such as antisemitism, Islamism, right-wing extremism, and the Middle East conflict. Since 2015, we have been active in historical-political education and promote a fact-based and democratic discourse[4].
• Workshops and Seminars: We regularly organize workshops and seminars addressing the history and present of the Middle East conflict, recognizing antisemitism, and distinguishing between legitimate criticism and antisemitic statements[4].
• Public Events and Discussions: The MFFB hosts public events, lectures, and discussions to inform and raise awareness among the public about critical issues. Examples include events on the dangers of the Iranian regime, the threat posed by the AfD, and the historical development of Zionism[1][2].

Our main mission is to defend and promote the values of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. We particularly advocate for the support of democratic and secular forces in the Middle East and stand in solidarity with Israel. A central aspect of our work is combating antisemitism, Islamism, and right-wing extremism, as well as raising awareness about the dangers posed by these ideologies[1][2].

• Stop the Bomb Initiative: The MFFB supports the "Stop the Bomb" initiative, which opposes business dealings with the Iranian regime and advocates for the support of the democratic opposition in Iran. This initiative includes petitions, demonstrations, and public actions to draw attention to human rights violations and Iran's nuclear armament plans[3].
