The Nemetschek Stiftung is an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening democracy in Germany. Founded in 2007 by Prof. Georg Nemetschek and his family, it puts democracy-relevant topics on the agenda to motivate citizens to engage in civil society action.[1][7]
The foundation is based on the conviction that only a free and cosmopolitan society can peacefully cope with the challenges of the present and the future. It encourages reflection and participation, promotes social cohesion, and builds bridges in a polarized world.
