The Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg (PH Ludwigsburg) is the largest of the six Universities of Education in Baden-Württemberg, with around 6000 students and 470 employees. Founded in 1962, it has been established on the Ludwigsburg campus since 1966. The PH Ludwigsburg sees itself as an "Educational University" that focuses on research, study, teaching, further education and transfer.
The mission of the PH Ludwigsburg is to promote educational sciences and to train future teachers and education experts. The values include excellence in research and teaching, internationalization and sustainability.
The PH Ludwigsburg attaches great importance to sustainability and mobility. It integrates these goals into its internationalization strategy, which focuses on (blended/virtual) mobility, diversity, social participation and sustainability. The International Office coordinates these efforts and maintains partnerships with around 90 partner universities worldwide.
The PH Ludwigsburg offers numerous international experiences through mobility and funding programs. It supports over 100 international exchange students every year and promotes international research projects through strategic partnerships with universities worldwide. The English-language Master's program "International Education Management" also opens up international career opportunities.
