The company attaches great importance to qualified and empathetic care that is geared to the individual needs of the residents. A competent team of nurses, nursing assistants and social care staff, supported by volunteers as well as pastors and the team of doctors and physiotherapists at the adjacent Krankenhaus Johanneum, takes care of the residents, their families and friends. Teamwork, mutual support and regular further training are key factors.
The Pflegezentrum Johanneum is a Catholic institution whose services are based on the Christian image of humanity. The focus is on charity and the dignity of every person, regardless of gender, nationality and religion. The guiding principle of the Stiftung Johanneum is: "People are at the center of our actions".
The understanding of care aims to support the residents in all essential care problems and to promote them from the aspect of activating holistic care and by mobilizing the visible and hidden resources. The residents should be enabled to become as independent of care as individually possible. Professional care planning forms the basis for this.
The Pflegezentrum Johanneum attaches great importance to quality management and has established methods to measurably check actions, avoid errors and constantly improve. Transparent and comprehensible action is of great importance.
Medical product safety is ensured by a medical product officer in order to meet the legal requirements of the Medical Device Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV).

The goal of all employees is to enable people to live a life in a dignified atmosphere in their last phase of life. They want to accompany and comfort them, alleviate their suffering and enable them to die with dignity.
