The Private Kant-Schule Frankfurt is a well-established all-day school for 60 years, dedicated to the individual support of children and adolescents in the spirit of a humanistic philosophy. The school offers a continuous educational program from preschool kindergarten to the Gymnasium (grades 5-13).
In the preschool kindergarten, special emphasis is placed on a smooth transition to elementary school to make it easier for children to start their school career. The manageable, two-track elementary school focuses on teaching basic cultural techniques such as reading, writing and arithmetic.
The Gymnasium aims at the acquisition of competences in the sense of a comprehensive humanistic education. In addition to the regular curriculum of the Hessisches Kultusministerium, the school offers regular sports and swimming lessons. Special attention is paid to the promotion of individual skills through competitions in mathematics, geography and sports. In addition to the lessons, visits to museums, theaters and operas as well as cooperations with the university and sports clubs are offered. Class trips round off the school offer. The school also enables Realschule graduates to acquire the general university entrance qualification through a special and individual preparation for the Landesabitur.
The Private Kant-Schule attaches importance to reliable all-day care, which offers students time and space for the discovery and promotion of their talents. The school strives to ensure a socially balanced student body.
The school has built and installed exhaust systems in all classrooms according to the assembly instructions of the Max-Planck-Institut Mainz in order to enable face-to-face teaching even during pandemic conditions. With regard to the combination of tradition and modernity, the classic blackboards in the elementary school and in the Gymnasium were replaced by Smartboards.
