Pro Mobil e.V. is an association that is highly committed to the interests of people with disabilities. The association's goal is to break down barriers and create spaces for integration and inclusion so that people with disabilities can fully develop their personality, talents, creativity, and mental and physical abilities.
The range of services offered by Pro Mobil is diverse and includes outpatient assisted living, outpatient shared apartments, an assistance service, the integration service, inclusive kindergartens, an outpatient nursing service, as well as offers for participation in life, youth and family support, the Kompetenzzentrum Selbstbestimmt Leben and KoKoBe (coordination, contact and advice center).
A particular flagship is the inclusive Hotel "Neues Pastorat" in Heiligenhaus, which is not only open to guests, but also serves as a venue for art exhibitions, concerts and inclusive courses. The hotel is an inclusion company in which people with and without disabilities work together as a matter of course.
Pro Mobil is actively committed to the equality of people with disabilities and regularly organizes campaigns such as Flashmobs and action days to draw attention to the importance of inclusion. The association also offers inclusive courses for adults, for example in first aid or sign language, in order to promote participation in social life.
Sustainability plays an important role at Pro Mobil. For example, the garden of a residential building was redesigned with donations from a deposit donation box to create a place for meeting and relaxation. The Hotel Neues Pastorat relies on regional products and has beehives on the roof to produce honey.
Pro Mobil works closely with various cooperation partners, including the Aktion Mensch, the Paritätische NRW and the Bundesverband für mittelständische Wirtschaft (BVMW). The association is always looking for qualified and motivated employees who would like to work for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
