The Reha-Zentrum gGmbH is a non-profit organization with many years of experience in caring for people with special social difficulties, especially homeless and chronically mentally ill people. Since the founding of the residential home in Raschdorffstraße in 2000, the Reha-Zentrum has offered comprehensive assistance for reintegration into society.
The Reha-Zentrum gGmbH offers a wide range of care services, including a homeless facility and a therapeutic residential network. The residential network includes both a therapeutic shared apartment (TWG) and assisted living. The aim is to provide clients with a stabilizing and stimulating social environment in which they can once again shape their lives independently.
The homeless facility offers 23 places and is oriented towards eliminating acute deficiencies of the clients. Building on this, socio-educational care and support is provided to avert, eliminate or mitigate difficulties that impair participation in community life.
The therapeutic residential network is aimed at people with mental disabilities who need socio-psychiatric services for self-care, employment, daily routine and social contact. The care is intended to help manage psychological crises, if possible, without inpatient treatment phases. The residential network offers 19 places and enables flexible adaptation of care services.
The team at the Reha-Zentrum consists of experienced specialists such as Diplom-Psychologen, Diplom-Pädagogen, Diplom-Sozialarbeitern, Heilerziehungspflegern and residential carers. They offer assistance in overcoming life crises, stabilize the health situation, promote insight into the illness and provide support in regulating financial matters.
The Reha-Zentrum gGmbH values the residents' willingness to participate in their own resocialization, including abstaining from violence, alcohol and drugs, as well as willingness to integrate into the community and to continue specialist medical treatment.
Assisted living is aimed at people with mental disabilities who want to live in their own apartment but need support in managing their everyday lives. The services include support with interior design, dealing with authorities, securing the financial situation and training in everyday practical skills.
The therapeutic shared apartment (TWG) offers a relieving, caring system for people with severe chronic mental illnesses who have permanent significant limitations in self-care. The TWG offers two apartments with single rooms, common rooms and a garden. Care is guaranteed around the clock.
The Reha-Zentrum gGmbH works closely with the district steering committee and other partners in the psychiatric support system to ensure optimal care for clients.
