The Evangelische Heimstiftung Pfalz is a diaconal social enterprise based in Speyer, Rhineland-Palatinate. Founded in 1968, it is closely associated with the Protestant Church of the Palatinate and offers a variety of social services.
The foundation is committed to Christian values such as charity and justice. It sees itself as a community that accompanies people in their individual life situations, promoting self-determination and empowerment. Responsibility towards fellow human beings and the environment is paramount.
The EVH Pfalz is committed to sustainable and responsible management by using its resources sparingly. It is also involved in regional development, in particular through its membership in ZukunftsRegion Westpfalz e.V., in order to make the region socially viable and fit for the future.
In addition, the EVH Pfalz promotes the professional integration of people with disabilities through the Wichern.Werkstätten and offers companies a wide range of support services to create inclusive workplaces. Its diverse offerings are located at over 60 locations in the Palatinate and Rheinhessen and reach around 1,400 people. The foundation employs around 1,100 people, making it an important employer in the region.
