Samariterstiftung

The Samariterstiftung is a non-profit foundation with over 135 years of tradition, specializing in Altenhilfe, Behindertenhilfe and Sozialpsychatrie in Württemberg. With more than 3,300 employees from 85 nations at over 30 locations in nine urban and rural districts, it offers comprehensive support for people in need of help.

• Altenhilfe: Inpatient and outpatient care in nursing homes, day care centers and care shared apartments.
• Behindertenhilfe: Housing, workshops, support groups and day care centers.
• Sozialpsychatrie: Day clinics and day care centers.
• Hospizbetreuung: Two hospices offer free stays, supported by donations.

The Mission of the Samariterstiftung is: "We help people." It acts consistently according to economic principles, whereby not the profit, but the satisfaction of the people is in the foreground. The foundation is part of the Diakonisches Werk of the Evangelische Landeskirche in Württemberg and emphasizes human attention in addition to qualified work.
