The
The Schülerforschungszentrum Südwürttemberg (SFZ) is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting students in the STEM subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology). With its several locations in Baden-Württemberg, the SFZ offers a platform for young people to live out and develop their interests free from the pressure of grades.
The aim of the SFZ is to awaken the fascination for natural sciences and technology and to support the future leaders of these fields. It offers comprehensive broad and top-level support, which is based on the model of sports. The students are given the freedom to develop and implement their own project ideas, which is promoted through close cooperation with schools, universities and companies[1][3].
Despite its focus on education and research, the SFZ contributes to sustainable development by enabling future generations to develop responsible and innovative solutions to social challenges. Through close cooperation with regional partners, a comprehensive network of experts and institutions is created, which contributes to the promotion of knowledge and innovation in the long term.
The SFZ also promotes cooperation between schools, universities and companies, which leads to a strong networking of the region and enriches the educational landscape in Baden-Württemberg[1][3].
