Since 1995, Schwimmschule Wassermäuse has been accompanying families with a well-thought-out concept centered around water experiences and swimming education. The company specializes in Babyschwimmen, Kleinkinderschwimmen and Schwimmkurse für Kinder ab 4 Jahren, with courses structured according to age - from water familiarization to safe breaststroke swimming[1][2]. Currently, courses are offered at 33 Standorten in Bayern, including München, Rosenheim and Nürnberg, which aim at a holistic promotion of child development[2][3].
The Mission of Wassermäuse is to provide children and parents with safety, joy and self-confidence in dealing with the element of water through early water familiarization. The team consists exclusively of erfahrenen Wasserpädagoginnen und Müttern who create a trusting atmosphere through authenticity and empathy[1][5]. The focus on Eltern-Kind-Interaktion is reflected in courses that promote joint singing, playing and diving in a calm setting[2].
Particular emphasis is placed on soziale Verantwortung: In 2015, the swimming school initiated free swimming courses for refugees in Markt Indersdorf, setting an example for integration through education[1]. The zweite Generation der Gründerfamilie has been running the company since 2014 and is focusing on continuous location expansion and adapting the course offerings to the needs of modern families[1][4].
