Skyseed GmbH is an innovative start-up based in Berlin that specializes in sustainable reforestation and forest conversion using specially developed drone technology and seed pellets. Skyseed offers a unique method of reforestation that uses specially developed drones, such as the SKYSEED X8 Octocopter and the Alta X from Freefly Systems, to precisely and efficiently distribute seed pellets over large areas. These pellets are made from 100% natural, organic, and locally produced raw materials in Germany and protect the seeds from predators, drought, and other environmental factors. Through pelletization, even fine seeds that could not otherwise be sown by hand can be processed and applied precisely by machine[2][3].
