The Sozialstation Ammerland-Wesermarsch GmbH is a non-profit, municipally supported nursing service that has been active in the northern Wesermarsch for over 40 years and in Ammerland since 1977. Supported by the municipalities of Nordenham, Butjadingen, Stadland and Rastede, the Sozialstation offers a wide range of services to enable sick, elderly and disabled people to live a dignified life in their familiar home environment.
The range of services includes elderly care, nursing care and support and advice. In the area of elderly care, basic care activities such as help with personal hygiene, nutrition and mobility are offered, supplemented by domestic support. Nursing care includes medically prescribed services such as wound care, injections and the care of patients after a hospital stay. In addition, the Sozialstation offers comprehensive advice on all questions relating to care, provides aids and supports applications for home adaptations.
A particular focus is on dementia care, for which special care courses and training programs are offered for relatives and voluntary helpers. The aim is to relieve families who care for people with dementia and make it easier for them to deal with the particular challenges.
The Sozialstation Ammerland-Wesermarsch GmbH sees itself as a partner for a self-determined life at home. With a team of over 110 qualified employees, including health and nurses, geriatric nurses and specialists in gerontopsychiatry, a high standard of care is guaranteed. The employees are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to meet the individual needs of the patients.
The Sozialstation attaches great importance to the quality of its services. Regular checks by the Medizinischer Dienst der Krankenkassen confirm the high standard. The employees regularly take part in training courses to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.
The Sozialstation Ammerland-Wesermarsch GmbH strives to offer its employees an attractive working environment.
