The Sozialtherapeutisches Hilfswerk e.V. is a non-profit association that has been committed to helping adolescents and young adults with psychosocial problems in Berlin since 1984. The aim of the association is to help young people find and follow their path into adulthood.

The multi-professional team of the Sozialtherapeutisches Hilfswerk consists of social workers, educators, psychologists, sociologists, psychotherapists, supervisors, nutritionists and other specialists. The employees work together in small teams, in the large team as well as in internal and external supervisions to ensure the quality of their work.
The services of the Sozialtherapeutisches Hilfswerk are primarily aimed at citizens from the districts of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Mitte, Spandau and Steglitz-Zehlendorf and are part of the integration assistance according to the Sozialgesetzbuch XII.
The association attaches importance to an appreciative and resource-oriented way of working. The caregivers meet the young people with empathy, clarity and structure and at the same time give them the freedom they need for their personal development. The aim is to enable young people to lead a self-determined and fulfilling life.
