The Stadtjugendring Bad Honnef e.V. is a central player in the children's and youth work of the city of Bad Honnef. As an umbrella organization with 37 member associations and organizations, it represents the interests of children and young people to politics and society and promotes participation and sustainable youth development.[4][3]
The Stadtjugendring offers a wide range of open youth work and care services:
The main mission of the Stadtjugendring is to strengthen children and young people through leisure activities, prevention and networking. Core values are participation, inclusion and community: Together with the youth welfare office and local groups, it creates platforms for exchange where young people actively participate and boredom is combated. The association lobbies politically and supports associations financially through sponsoring memberships.[4][3]
A highlight is the Netzwerk Gewaltfrei, initiated in 2014 in cooperation with the Aalkönigkomitee and the youth welfare office. Every year around 30.000–32.000 € flow into projects for violence prevention among young people. Local organizations submit ideas - from innovative prevention measures to networking meetings and public forums. This network strengthens social projects in the long term and has already supported dozens of initiatives to create a violence-free environment for Bad Honnef's youth.[5]
With YouTube channels and modern media offerings, the Stadtjugendring remains innovative and accessible. As a non-profit organization (gGmbH for care), it relies on sustainable structures that combine fun, education and security - for a strong youth in Bad Honnef.[1][7]
