Stiftung für Kunst und Kultur e.V.

The Stiftung für Kunst und Kultur e.V. has been an active promoter and shaper of the contemporary art and cultural landscape for over 30 years. As an independent and well-connected idea generator, the foundation conceives and realizes exhibitions, operates the MKM Museum Küppersmühle für Moderne Kunst in Duisburg, organizes discussions at the interface of culture, politics and business, and presents art in public spaces.

The foundation is involved in Bonn, Berlin, Duisburg, Salzburg and internationally to promote art and culture as essential components of social coexistence and discourse. The focus of the work includes thematic exhibitions, the art scene of individual countries, as well as solo and group exhibitions of renowned artists.

The aim of the foundation is to actively formulate a design claim and motivate others to get involved, freely based on the motto of Joseph Beuys: "Be a co-creator of the whole". The foundation finances its projects through sponsoring from the business and private sectors and relies on PUBLIC-PRIVATE-PARTNERSHIPS.

The Stiftung für Kunst und Kultur e.V. makes an important contribution to cultural diversity and the promotion of social dialogue through art.
