The main mission of the Stiftung KlimaWirtschaft is to promote climate protection and the sustainable use of natural resources. It consolidates and activates the willingness to take responsibility, innovative strength, and problem-solving competence of German companies to support an ambitious and market-oriented climate policy[2][4][5].
The Stiftung KlimaWirtschaft has a strong network of over 30 companies from all relevant industries and sectors of the economy. Founding companies include Deutsche Bahn AG, Otto Group, PUMA SE, Deutsche Telekom AG, and other significant companies. The leaders of these companies are directly involved in the foundation's activities and personally identify with its goals[1][2][5].
