Straßenkinder e.V. focuses on supporting children, adolescents, and young adults who live on the street or are at risk of homelessness. Here are some of the central offerings and services:
The mission of Straßenkinder e.V. is to bring children and adolescents off the street and accompany them on their way back into society. We are committed to reintegration, prevention, and support for these young people to reduce child and educational poverty and enable a better future. Our actions are based on building sustainable relationships and conveying charity and social values[3].
Straßenkinder e.V. pursues several sustainable goals:
Our work is funded almost 100% by donations, and we rely on the support of partners and donors to implement and further develop our projects[1][5].
Straßenkinder e.V. works closely with various partners and supporters, including companies like WITTE Projektmanagement, which assists us in realizing projects and meeting daily necessities. We also receive support from prominent individuals and organizations that share and promote our mission[4][5].
By combining educational, leisure, and social offerings with our preventive and integrative work, we make an important contribution to improving the living conditions of homeless and socially disadvantaged children and adolescents in Berlin and beyond.
