Toleranzräume

ToleranzRäume is an innovative project of the non-profit organization Toleranz-Tunnel e.V., realized in close collaboration with the Kreuzberger Initiative gegen Antisemitismus (KIgA e.V.) and with scientific support from the University of Bielefeld. The project aims to promote tolerance, respect, and humanity in society.

• Traveling Exhibition: The ToleranzRäume consist of colorful exhibition containers set up in public spaces in German municipalities. This exhibition offers the audience new perspectives on the topic of tolerance and the life worlds of other people to foster empathy and understanding[5].
• Educational Materials: Comprehensive educational materials for schools, clubs, institutions, and companies have been developed. These materials enable the conduct of workshops, concerts, and discussions that encourage self-reflection and constructive dialogue[3].
• Workshops and Events: The accompanying program of the exhibition includes workshops, concerts, and discussions based on human rights and the Basic Law. These events promote dialogue and participation for more tolerance and respect.

The main mission of ToleranzRäume is to contribute to peaceful coexistence in society.
