UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund, is one of the most well-known and far-reaching social welfare organizations in the world. Founded in 1946 to protect children after World War II, UNICEF today works in 192 countries and territories to help the most vulnerable children in the world.

The Main Mission of UNICEF is to defend children's rights, meet their basic needs, and increase their chances of reaching their full potential. This is supported by the UNICEF Vision, which aims to achieve the sustainable development goals of the global community and realize peace and social progress, as enshrined in the UN Charter[3].

UNICEF is guided by five Core Values:

• Care: UNICEF cares for children, adolescents, and mothers in all contexts and ensures that this care is also felt in the working relationships within the organization.
• Respect: Effective programs require that the recipients of support are understood and respected, and that colleagues at all levels receive the same respect that one wishes for oneself.

• Trust: Trust in communities and among staff is essential to provide effective programs and services.
• Accountability: Public and private donors, as well as children and vulnerable people worldwide, have the right to know how UNICEF programs are implemented, resources are used, and results are achieved[3][4].

UNICEF offers a wide range of services aimed at improving the lives and well-being of children and mothers. Key activities include:

• Vaccination campaigns and disease prevention: Providing vaccinations and disease prevention measures.
• Healthcare: Treating children and mothers with HIV and other health issues.
• Nutrition and hygiene: Improving the nutrition of children and mothers as well as sanitation conditions.
