editThe Universität Osnabrück, founded in 1974, is a renowned university characterized by excellent research and teaching. With around 14,000 students, it offers a wide range of degree programs in eight departments: Cultural and Social Sciences, Educational and Cultural Studies, Biology/Chemistry, Mathematics/Computer Science/Physics, Language and Literature, Human Sciences, Economics and Law.
The range of courses includes Bachelor's, Master's, teaching degree, and doctoral programs, which are offered in both German and English. The university places great emphasis on research-based teaching and offers students the opportunity to develop into experts in future-oriented areas such as sustainability and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Universität Osnabrück has an international focus and maintains numerous partnerships with universities worldwide. Students benefit from diverse exchange programs and international short-term programs. For international students, there are special offers such as the Studienkolleg to prepare for studies in Germany and the Welcome Week at the start of studies.
