The Verein für Erlebnispädagogik und Jugendsozialarbeit e.V. (VEJ) has been a competent partner in the field of youth welfare and youth social work for over 25 years, with a special focus on experiential education. The VEJ offers a wide range of services for children, young people and families in the city and region of Hanover, in particular outpatient educational assistance in accordance with §§27 ff SGB VIII at the Lehrte and Hanover-Herrenhausen locations.

The VEJ's goal is to recognize and strengthen the resources and skills of children, young people and families, to promote their self-confidence and self-esteem and to strengthen their personal responsibility. Problem areas such as violence, addiction, school problems, crime, unemployment, educational problems and social behavioral problems are dealt with in a goal-oriented manner.
In anti-violence training, the VEJ is guided by the interests of the participants in leading a life free of fear and violence. Another focus is on victim orientation, with empathy and the feelings of the victims being a central theme. The VEJ attaches great importance to quality assurance through supervision, coaching, further training and goal-oriented control procedures.
The VEJ is a member of the Bundesverband für Erziehungshilfe e.V. and works with various cooperation partners to ensure a broad spectrum of offers and services.
