Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Obing

The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Obing, consisting of the municipalities of Kienberg, Obing and Pittenhart, is located in the heart of the Bavarian district of Traunstein and is characterized by a dedicated administration and a diverse community life.

• Administration and Citizen Service: The VG Obing offers comprehensive administrative services, including the registry office, the social welfare office, the public order office and the trade office.
• Construction and Environmental Management: The building authority takes care of construction planning, fire department issues and environmental protection, while the building administration is responsible for the local infrastructure.
• Tourist Information and Holiday Program: The VG supports tourism through informative offers and organizes holiday programs for children.

The mission of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Obing is to create a safe and attractive living environment for its citizens. Values such as cohesion, transparency and citizen-friendliness are paramount. This is reflected in the promotion of families and senior citizens through initiatives such as the "Senior-friendly Living Space" and the support of families with seriously ill children.

An important focus of the VG Obing is on environmental and nature conservation. Current projects include species monitoring in cooperation with the Bavarian State Office for the Environment. In addition, waste management and broadband supply are promoted as part of infrastructural sustainability.

The administrative community is also committed to the local cultural heritage through events such as Steckerlfischgrillen and Karfreitagsfischessen, which strengthen social interaction.
