VIVATAS GmbH is an established care provider in Brandenburg, which has been operating as the first private home care service in the district of Barnim since 1993 and has developed into a regional market leader. With around 218 employees, the company now cares for around 1500 people at several locations and attaches great importance to the fact that people are at the center - be it those in need of care, their families or their own team.[1][2][4]
Founded in 1993 in Eberswalde, VIVATAS moved in 1996 to the listed, renovated factory owner's villa of the Motz family, which was later expanded with modern new buildings. The location has been offering assisted living since 1998. Important milestones shaped the growth: In 2008, VIVATAS joined CARA Seniorendienste GmbH in Berlin, a provider of care and residential properties throughout Germany.[2][1] Further expansions followed - the "Haus Kurfürst Joachim" in Joachimsthal (1998), the "Salomon-Goldschmidt-Quartier" in Eberswalde with day care and shared apartment (2012), specialized outpatient palliative care (SAPV) since 2015 and VIVATAS Plus for outpatient care services. From 2016, assisted living communities were added in the restored market quarter in Angermünde, supplemented by a consulting office in Joachimsthal (2017). The most recent locations in Schwedt, Prenzlau and Bad Freienwalde were established in 2019.[2]
In 2023, VIVATAS celebrated its 30th anniversary as a success story of regional celebration culture, with a focus on long-term employees such as Marianne Baak, who has been there since the beginning.[1]
VIVATAS offers a wide range of diverse living and care options:
These services are tailored to the needs of residents and families, with around-the-clock presence and individual design of everyday life.[4][5]
The core mission of VIVATAS is: "Creating a home full of life". People are at the center - those in need of care receive care based on 30 years of experience, while employees receive optimal conditions so that care is fun and compatible with private life.[4][1][5] Values such as humanity, community and continuous improvement shape everyday life: The company adapts to industry changes, creates a special atmosphere of togetherness and rewards the commitment of the teams with recognition and support.[4][5] Managing directors Klaus Berger and Harald Berghoff have been leading for years with a focus on gratitude towards all those involved.[1][3]
VIVATAS values its 218 employees as the heart of its success. They receive training, further education, company health management and an emotional balance to work with heart and mind. Reviews highlight a strong working atmosphere (3.8/5), good team spirit (3.6/5) and work-life balance (3.6/5), supplemented by high satisfaction with career and further training (4.0/5).[5][7] "We do a lot for our employees and learn something new every day" to make care better.[4]
Although explicit sustainability goals are not described in detail in the sources, a sustainable approach is reflected in the long-term preservation of historical buildings, such as the factory owner's villa and the market quarter.[1][2] VIVATAS invests in regional expansion and quality improvement in order to grow in a future-oriented manner - always with the goal of making life colorful and care more humane.[5]
VIVATAS embodies tradition and innovation in senior care: From humble beginnings with three employees to a network that connects thousands. Anyone who knows VIVATAS knows: Life pulsates here in every encounter.[1][4]
