About Walter Reis Stiftung
editThe Walter Reis Stiftung was founded in 2015 to promote entrepreneurship and enthusiasm for technology in the region, especially among young people. Inspired by the life's work of the founder Walter Reis, a pioneer in the robotics industry, the foundation aims to uncover potential and awaken a spirit of experimentation.
A central element of the foundation's work is the Walter Reis Institut, which opened in 2018. It offers a platform for students, inventors and tinkerers to develop and implement their ideas. The foundation supports them with economic advice and practical help.
The foundation places particular emphasis on promoting environmentally friendly technologies. It strives to contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
Walter Reis' entrepreneurial success was based on the principle that every decision must be beneficial to all parties involved. This principle also shapes the work of the foundation. It sees itself as a "Fair Player" that advocates rationalization, but always puts humanity first. The foundation wants to pass on Walter Reis' engineering and inventive spirit to the youth.
