For over 100 years,
The Weraheim Stuttgart is a traditional therapeutic education small home that has been dedicated to supporting young people living in difficult family or social situations for over 100 years. It offers children, adolescents and young adults aged 6 to 21 a safe and supportive home when staying with their own family is not possible. The offer includes several forms of housing, including two indoor residential groups and a decentralized residential group, which provide approximately 22 places.
The main task of the Weraheim is to promote the individual development of young people and prepare them for an independent life. This is done through a tailor-made therapeutic education support concept in which personal assistance plans are developed. The Weraheim supports the school and vocational training of the residents and at the same time promotes family relationships in order to enable a return to the family environment or to secure an independent way of life.
The mission includes creating a protected framework that provides support and orientation, as well as taking into account the diverse needs and challenges of those in care - from conspicuous social behavior and learning difficulties to addiction risks and overburdening of the families of origin. The focus is on individual support and guidance in order to strengthen young people in their personality and life planning.
The Weraheim also values sustainability and social responsibility in the social sector by developing long-term, life-changing perspectives for disadvantaged young people and promoting stable, supportive networks.
Through many years of expertise and continuous social commitment, the Weraheim Stuttgart ensures holistic and trusting care, which not only offers young people safe accommodation, but also sustainably improves their chances of social participation and professional integration.
This combination of professional therapeutic education work, a family-oriented approach and sustainable responsibility makes the Weraheim a valuable institution in the social system of the Stuttgart region[2][4].
