WKE Entsorgungs- und Recycling GmbH is a family-run company based in Rackwitz, which operates as a certified waste management company in accordance with §2 Abs. 1 EfbV and §56 KrWG.[1][2][3] With around 60 dedicated employees, it serves private individuals, businesses and companies, especially in the economic region of Leipzig/Halle.[2][3] As a strong service provider, the team relies on complete solutions from a single source, supported by a fleet of 20 own container vehicles as well as wheel loader and excavator technology.[2]
The broad range of services includes waste treatment, recycling, waste acceptance and container transport. Customers can deliver, empty and pick up containers in sizes from – perfect for construction sites or renovations.[8] The in Rackwitz is open Mondays to Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Saturdays until 11:00 a.m.) and accepts waste such as construction and demolition waste, park and garden waste, bulky waste, wood, asbestos, roofing felt and insulation materials.[3][7] In addition, there are building materials such as bark mulch, sand, drainage gravel, crushed stone, topsoil, compost and concrete RC for delivery.[7]
The services are supplemented by sweeping and winter services as well as advanced pretreatment according to §6 GewAbfV.[2][3][10] All plants are approved according to BImSchG (Bundes-Immissionsschutzgesetz) and use state-of-the-art sorting, excavator and wheel loader technology for professional disposal.[3][10]
