Zapp NRW, with the full name Zentrum für ambulante pädagogische Projekte, is an established provider of independent youth welfare based in Duisburg. Since its founding in 2002, Zapp NRW has been dedicated to the successful resolution of family problems.
The company sees itself as a contact in educational matters and specializes in reintegrating families, children and young people into everyday life through individual support and enabling them to have a future perspective. Zapp NRW is based on the concept of life-world-oriented youth welfare and focuses on the individual life situation of those being cared for.
The services of Zapp NRW include a broad spectrum of outpatient assistance, including SPFH (Sozialpädagogische Familienhilfe), flexible forms of care (Flex), intensive socio-educational individual care (INSPE/BEWO), educational diagnostics, repatriation management and outpatient mother/father-child care. Zapp NRW works closely with the Krefeld and Duisburg youth welfare offices and has an operating license from the LVR / Landesjugendamt.
A key success factor of Zapp NRW is the reference support model. Each client is supported by a permanent contact person who coordinates the measure and builds a trusting relationship. The team at Zapp NRW consists of qualified specialists from various pedagogical and therapeutic areas who have a wide range of professional and individual experience. This makes it possible to optimally tailor the care to the needs of the families. If necessary, Zapp NRW also draws on resources from cooperation partners.
The basic attitude and working principles of Zapp NRW are based on strengths orientation. The starting point for the development of a support offer is the individual life situation of the respective children, young people and their families. Zapp NRW is based on their abilities and strengths.
