Zentrum für Integrative Psychiatrie - ZIP gGmbH

The Zentrum für Integrative Psychiatrie (ZIP) gGmbH is a specialized company of the Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) with locations in Kiel and Lübeck, providing comprehensive psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care for adults, children, and adolescents. As an integral part of the UKSH and in close cooperation with the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and the Universität zu Lübeck, the ZIP combines the latest scientific findings with holistic patient care.

The ZIP's range of services includes inpatient, day-patient, and outpatient treatment centers based on the Clinics for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. This offer is complemented by cross-clinic outpatient facilities such as the Institutsambulanz and the Institut für Sexualmedizin und Forensische Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie. The care models are characterized by a forward-looking, cross-sectoral network that integrates proven and innovative treatment approaches and ensures individual, multidisciplinary care.

The mission of the ZIP is to support people with mental illnesses from a comprehensive, integrative perspective. This is done by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, as well as physio-, occupational, art and music therapists and social workers. Close cooperation with established doctors, therapists, other clinics, as well as with research and teaching at the cooperating universities ensures evidence-based care based on the latest scientific knowledge.

Sustainability and social responsibility are reflected in the holistic and patient-centered orientation of the treatment services. The ZIP is committed to promoting health and quality of life through innovative research, interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of psychosocial aspects into care.
