Einführung
IsraAID Germanye e. V. is a German humanitarian aid organization dedicated to responding to the evolving needs of crisis and conflict-affected populations, both within and outside of Germany. They aim to support communities in transitioning from crisis to recovery, rehabilitation, and sustainable living. The organization is currently seeking a Fundraising Professional to join their Development and Partnerships Department, focusing on cultivating relationships with donors and building fundraising initiatives aligned with their rebranded identity.
Aufgaben
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies targeting private donors, major donors, and corporate partners
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations
- Support preparation of grant proposals, funding applications, and donor presentations
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure fundraising efforts are aligned with project needs
- Coordinate fundraising events and campaigns targeted at private donors, major donors, and corporate partners
- Maintain accurate donor records and financial reports
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising
- Provide internal capacity building in the area of fundraising in the non-profit sector
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven track record of success in fundraising within the NGO sector
- Understanding of European Jewish communities and philanthropic dynamics
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to travel
- Commitment to humanitarian work and social justice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
