The Humanitarian Technical Advisor - Quality Assurance, Accountability & Capacity Development position at CBM involves supporting humanitarian projects, developing guidelines for standards and principles, leading quality assessment processes, and promoting gender mainstreaming in inclusive humanitarian action. The role requires a university degree in a related field, a deep understanding of humanitarian standards, and the ability to work in diverse and challenging contexts. Fluency in English is essential, and additional language skills are advantageous. The position offers creative freedom in Disability Inclusive Development within a supportive and diverse team environment at CBM.
Aufgaben
- Support country offices and partners in humanitarian projects in planning, delivery, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of projects
- Develop guidelines and tools to apply humanitarian standards and principles
- Lead quality assessment processes
- Act as Gender Focal Person in Inclusive Humanitarian Action Initiative
- Document best practices on localisation of humanitarian programming
- Lobbying, networking, and coordination in relevant forums and alliances
- Represent the organization in internal working groups
Voraussetzungen
- University degree in humanitarian action, development, political sciences, or related field
- Profound understanding of standards and principles of IHA and their application in project management cycle and humanitarian coordination mechanisms
- Structured, quality-oriented, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Independent, outgoing personality with high professional & social competence and diplomatic skills
- Very good knowledge of English, additional language skills (German, Spanish) are an advantage
- Willingness to travel to humanitarian contexts, including those presenting security challenges
- Identification with the Christian values and the mandate of the organization
